Hurts, Habits, Hangups

Celebrate Recovery is open to all and meets every Thursday at the Washington Campus.

Celebrate Recovery Can Help.
You may struggle with anxiety, depression, or anger.
For others, it may be substance abuse or addictions.
The truth is we all have issues. We are all broken and messy.
The hope is that this group can help to walk with you through the difficulties and celebrate recovery in Christ Jesus.

A Community For You

Celebrate Recovery is a safe and welcoming community for anyone seeking freedom from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Through Christ-centered support, we embrace God’s healing power as we walk the road to recovery together. By sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes, we grow in faith and find encouragement in one another.

Many assume CR is only for those battling addiction, but the truth is, it’s a place for anyone facing life’s challenges. No one is here to “fix” you—just to walk alongside you in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. CR is a space for authenticity, consistency, and real transformation. It exists to help you recognize what you can’t handle alone and guide you in surrendering it to God. True recovery begins when we step out of denial and into a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is CR a good fit for me?
One of the biggest misconceptions about Celebrate Recovery is that it is only for people who struggle with drug or alcohol addiction. That could not be further from the truth. In fact, out of all of the people who attend Celebrate Recovery around the world, ⅔ of them come for an issue other than drugs or alcohol.

Some of the reasons people attend CR are: codependency, anger issues, sexual addiction, adult child of family dysfunction, eating disorders, control issues, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, sexual, physical, emotional or mental abuse, and that’s just to name a few.

We truly believe that everyone can benefit from Celebrate Recovery!

If there’s any issue in your life that is holding you back or causing you pain, Celebrate Recovery is a fit for you!
How do I get started attending Celebrate Recovery?
Many people find the process of starting recovery scary because they aren’t sure how to begin or what to expect. The easiest way to get started, is to get started! We meet every Thursday from 6-8 pm in the Youth Room at the Washington Campus. Enter through the South door entrance; a greeter will await you.
What should I expect when attending Celebrate Recovery?
We start the evening with a meal at 6:00 PM, followed by live worship at 6:30 PM.

Each week, we alternate between a lesson and a personal testimony to encourage and equip you on your recovery journey. We also celebrate milestones with sobriety chips as a reminder of progress and perseverance.

At 7:00 PM, we break into gender-specific small groups, where confidentiality is a top priority, providing a safe space for honest sharing and support.

Everyone faces struggles at some point—those in Celebrate Recovery acknowledge them, recognize their need for Jesus, and take the journey one step and one day at a time.
What if I have been in recovery a long time?
If you’ve been in recovery for a long time, your experience and wisdom can be a powerful encouragement to those just starting their journey.

Celebrate Recovery isn’t just about personal healing—it’s also about giving back and walking alongside others. Your story can bring hope, your presence can offer support, and your growth can inspire someone else to keep going.

Whether through sponsorship, leadership, or simply showing up and sharing, you have a vital role in the recovery community.

Recovery is a lifelong journey, and staying connected helps both you and others continue to grow in Christ.
What if I have a "secret" issue that I don't want exposed?
If you’re struggling with “secret” issues and fear being exposed, you’re not alone—and Celebrate Recovery is exactly the place for you.

CR is a safe, confidential, and judgment-free space where you can come as you are. No one is here to shame or pressure you; we’re all on a journey of healing. God meets us in our mess, and when we surrender our struggles to Him, transformation begins.

You don’t have to carry your burdens alone—come and experience the freedom, support, and grace that CR offers.
